Welcome to the Lester B. Pearson Badminton Club!

LBP Badminton is an affiliated member of the Ontario Badminton Association (OBA). We are also a member of the Pearson Community Centre Association (PCCA). We operate out of Lester B. Pearson High School on Headon Road in Burlington, Ontario. New members are always welcome!

Regular Play
Regular times of play for the fall/winter/spring program are:
Tuesday and Friday 7:30-10:00pm and Sunday 1:30-3:30pm, September through April. See calendar for all dates.

Ladder Nights
A club wide doubles ladder is scheduled throughout the season. Members of all levels are encouraged to participate.

Joining the Ladder
You do not need to sign up for the ladder. You simply need to be a member and show up on time. If you arrive late, you may not be able to join in as all courts will be used for the ladder.

Ladder Basics
A ladder is a format where everybody tries to 'move up the ladder' by winning games. The LBP ladder will be a doubles format, however you do not need to pre-arrange a partner. Instead, you will be in a group with people of similar skills and should play once with everybody in your group. If you get the most points, you will move up to a higher group for the next session.

Social Events
In December LBP hosts a holiday social following a night of badminton and a year end dinner and awards night takes place in April. Check the club calendar and watch the board for details.

Clinics
LBP is pleased to offer clinics at no charge to its members at the beginning of each season. Watch the club board for details.
